How to Create a Ticket Template in NDesk (More → Settings → Templates)

Ticket templates help your team create consistent, high-quality tickets faster. Instead of typing the same details every time, you can pre-fill a structure (subject + description + default fields) so tickets are clearer and get resolved quicker.


Step-by-step: Create a Template

Step 1 — Open Settings

  1. Log into your NDesk portal.
  2. From the sidebar, click More.
  3. Select Settings.


Step 2 — Go to Templates

  1. Inside Settings, find Templates, click on Templates


Step 3 — Create a New Template
  1. Click + Create Templates.
  2. Give your template a clear name and fill the fields (Description, a title for the ticket, priority, category, auto assign to, etc….
